Ruben Reehorst (b.1982)
likes to think of himself as a creative professional photographer but is currently labeled as 'emerging talent' by several International sources.Ruben finished his Bachelor in Photography at the Academy of Fine Art Maastricht in 2009 and pursues a Master in teaching Art & Design at the same insitute.He like sto listen to Antony and The Johnsons aswell as The Roots when working.His favourite color is grey with a twist of bordeauxred.
He is aware of the scenery rather than the destination and likes to extend his visual journey by coming up with subjects lost and found along the way.He often strolls deserted places,secondhandstores,and suburbs of big cities.
To keep himself in the game he switches between portrait and still life projects,wich earned him over 12 International awards,honorable mentions and around 30 published articles in The Netherlands,Belgium,Germany,Great Britain,Spain,United States,Brazil and Australia.When not working on photography he likes to browse imagery online while eating dark chocolate and having espresso in bed with his muse.
